You ride in a Lincoln stretch limousine or a Lincoln Navigator for extra comfort. You get to select what you would like to purchase from each of the stops. The dog mushing and petting. $5 each, you can pet all the dogs that are waiting and ready for all visitors. Buy a tour to be pulled on a SUV by a team of dogs on the same route, (see Coastline Tours, Skagway on Google for a video), that's used in the winter time. Remember these dogs get very hot so the SUV is turned on to assist and keep these dogs from overheating. If you decide to only pet the dogs and go on to carcross that's fine because there's a lot to do in carcross as soon as the vehicles arrive. Carcross is a step back in time and you can visit the many happy merchants and see some of the old cabins still able to be walked up to and pictures taken from the Klondike days. The desert is an amazing display in the middle of this Valley.
