Top of Gowlland Tod Hike in Victoria
Experience the most spectacular short hike in the Victoria area on this 5 hour adventure with a local photographer. See the stunning vistas of Finlayson Arm, the Gowlland Range, and the Olympic Mountains on this 4.2 mile (7 kilometer) journey with 650 feet (200 meters) of elevation gain. This guided tour includes transportation, professional photo (emailed), snack, water, a dash of Vancouver Island's fascinating history, plus some incredible scenery, and great fun, of course. The difficulty level is considered moderate (although we have had an 80 year old and a 4 year old do it!) and the maximum group size is 7 people. Minimum group size is 2 people. Victoria area hotel pickup and drop-off included.
Ascend among Douglas Fir and Arbutus Trees to many majestic Fjord Views, with the stunning backdrop of the Gowlland Range and the Olympic Mountains of Washington State. You will also see incredible views towards the Gulf Islands, the mountains close to North Vancouver and Whistler, and a vista to an active volcano, Mount Baker. Remember to Breathe!
