West Range Cabins Horseback Adventures 4 Day trips into Rocklake-Solomon Cr Park
We offer a variety of trips from hourly rides, 4 day West Range Cabin trips, 6 & 8 day Wilderness Trips. We have something for everyone and no riding experience is necessary, though being in fairly good physical condition is recommended. We have age and weight restrictions, so please be sure to inquire with us. We keep our group sizes small, a maximum of 12 guests. This allows our guests a more personal one on one experience. Our guests have the option of rides into Jasper National Park, Willmore Wilderness Park and Rock Lake-Solomon Creek Wildland Park spans more than 12,000 kilometers of pristine mountain lakes, alpine meadows and towering peaks. A paradise unspoiled, where outdoor enthusiasts can experience an abundance of spectacular scenery, wildlife viewing and the incredible colors of the wildflowers. Itinerary
Day 1: All Guests arrive at the ranch in Brule at 9am. Depart approx. 10:30am. A bag lunch is provided.
Stop At: Rock Lake-Solomon Creek Wildland Park, Brule, Alberta Canada
Day 1: Arrive at the ranch in Brule around 9AM. After introductions and the necessary paper work we load all the gear and food on pack horses and head north to West Range Cabins. The trail leads us through the forest to Prine Creek where we stop for lunch. After lunch we will continue to the Solomon Creek crossing, then climb to the ridgeline where views of the Solomon Valley and the first range of the Rockies are spectacular. We continue north on a high bench paralleling Solomon Creek to the cabins, arriving approx..4:30pm. After moving into your cabin we have dinner at 6pm. A campfire in the evening before bed.

• Lunch: Lunch consists of a bag lunch. 2 sandwiches, fruit, granola or chocolate bar each day
• Dinner: Homecooked meals of spaghetti, lasagne, roast, chicken, chili, potatoes, rice, fresh salads, buns, biscuits,
and desert
Accommodation included: We have 3 sleeping cabins equipped with solar lights, propane heaters. 2 cabins sleep 5 guests & 1 cabin sleeps 2 guests
Day 2: Peterson Point
Stop At: Rock Lake-Solomon Creek Wildland Park, Brule, Alberta Canada
Day 2: We ride up Solomon Creek with many creek crossings to Peterson Creek. We then ride up Peterson creek with many switchbacks through the steep areas to the top of Peterson Point (elevation 6500ft). You are above timberline with incredible views in all directions, while we enjoy lunch. We must lead our horses down the steep switchbacks on our return. Approx. 6 hours

Day 3: Paradise Ridge
Stop At: Rock Lake-Solomon Creek Wildland Park, Brule, Alberta Canada
Day 3: After breakfast we start our ride to the top of Paradise Ridge. In 2 hours we gain 1200 vertical feet, reaching the ridgeline and the fantastic views. We ride the ridgeline for 5klm, the views changing as we make our way along the ridge. Lunch on top gives you a dinning room view. Very steep on the way down so we must dismount and lead our horses down a short way. Return to cabins approx..4 pm.

Day 4: Final Day
Stop At: Rock Lake-Solomon Creek Wildland Park, Brule, Alberta Canada
Day 4: After we enjoy breakfast, load the packhorses and return to civilization. After a lunch break we arrive back at the ranch about 3pm. After goodbyes to new friends made on the trip and to your trusty horses, we hope to see you again on a new Horseback Adventure.
