We will begin the tour in Santa Maria, after a short tour of the village of Santa Maria we will reach “Igrejinha beach”, a wonderful spots in the south of the island where the rocky coastline merges with a long white sand beach.

Following the east coast we will arrive at “Kite beach”, this place is perfect for surfers of all level and from June to November is an interesting beach for everybody that wants to have the chance to meet a see turtle.

From kite beach we will go to Murdeira crossing Sal Island from east to west. The interior of the island offers a unique spectacle with red, green and yellow volcanic soils.

From Murdeira we will drive along the west coast until Ponta Preta beach. Every year this beach hosts a stage of the windsurf World Championships.

Ponta Preta beach is also known because is the only beach in Sal where is possible to see the gold sand dunes.

A white sand beach famous for the perfect conditions for the kite surfers. Important nesting point for the see turtles.

One of the first resort in Sal Island with a small closed bay with calm water. From Murdeira is possible to watch and take picture of the famous Lion Mountain

Stop At: Ponta Preta Beach, Ponta Preta, Murdeira, Ilha do Sal 4110 Cape Verde

This is the only beach in Sal Island where you can see the sand dunas. This beach is famous for the anual kite surf world competition
