Discover Scuba Diving in Carriacou

Try scuba diving for the first time! A dedicated PADI dive professional will guide you step-by-step to discovering an exciting new world underwater. You will complete a short theory session, followed by some skills in shallow water to allow you become familiar with your scuba equipment. Once you're happy and comfortable you will then be taken for a proper dive to see Carriacou's amazing marine life!

The Discover Scuba Diving experience is designed for people who have never scuba dived before. It's an introduction to scuba diving, which is divided into three parts. First, receive a briefing from your personal dive guide, covering scuba diving essentials, techniques, hints, tips and a preview of the underwater activities. You can ask any questions you may have with regards to diving - the guides are there to help!

Your first taste of scuba will be in shallow water (about chest deep) where you will practice some useful scuba skills with your guide. Once you are happy and comfortable in your equipment, you will then go out for a proper dive! This will take you to a maximum of 12m/40 feet, and will give you the opportunity to view Carriacou's fantastic marine life close up underwater.
