We take care of everything on this one of a kind tour. Not only will you be escorted to Santo Domingo from Punta Cana by a private driver in a luxury car, you but a private guide will meet you in the Colonial Zone for you and your group.

They will show you around and answer any questions you have about the history and city. From there you are off to Chocolate Factory in the Santo Domingo, where you will get to experience the history of Dominican Cacao including tasting and more.

A lunch is not included, but we will take you to our favorite little Italian restaurant or to the restaurants in front of the Columbus house to enjoy some of the best Santo Domingo has to offer before heading back to Punta Cana.

TRIP ITINERARY

8:00 AM-9:00 PM

Enjoy this ten hour adventure in a luxury vehicle with a private, bilingual, certified tour guide, with whom you will travel in all comfort through the history of this 500+ year old city.

Pickup 8 AM

You will be picked up from your hotel/ location area in Punta Cana and be driven to the Colonial Zone.

Private Tour

You will visit the Columbus Palace. Completed in 1514, it was the home of Christopher Columbus’ son, Diego. From the palace, the group will walk through the historic Plaza de España and onto Calle Las Damas, the first paved street of the New World. The ultimate destination is one of the most important sites in the Dominican Republic: the first cathedral of the New World, Cathedral de Santa Maria La Menor. With the tour to Santo Domingo, you’ll experience the city’s rich history and the daily life of everyday Dominicans in their capital of 3 million inhabitants.

Tour Continued

You will visit Pantheon, the Ruins, Museums, and all religious patriotic monuments. (Lunch is not included, but we have to tell you the restaurants around the Columbus house are excellent) Or be transported to our favorite restaurant in all of Santo Domingo, with authentic Italian food you will love. Then you will head on over to the Cacao Factory for a chocolate tasting and experience everything chocolate there is to offer.

End your day with some shopping in Santo Domingo in one of three malls ( if you want).

Return Trip

After ending your evening our drivers will be waiting to take you and your group back to your hotel/location.
