Dominican Rum and Taino Caves
Embark on a journey to discover the heritage of Sugar Cane and take part in a tour through the various processes of manufacturing rum. Afterwards youll visit the largest developed stalactite cavern in the Dominican Republic with its several hundred pictographs created by the native Taino Indians.

Take part in a tour through the various processes of the manufacturing of rum: Distillery, refining, rum cellars and packaging. You will also visit an exhibition which shows the history of rum and the Barceló family. The exhibition is located in a museum, which was built in the shape of a rum barrel. For the grand finale a rum tasting awaits you.
