You will be picked up from your hotel in the Punta Cana area and be driven to San Francisco de Macorís, where you will be taken to the Cacao's Route. Discover the secrets of the elaboration of the delicious Dominican chocolate during the journey inside an authentic cocoa plantation, where you will go through all the stages of the process of making the highest quality cocoa: from planting to the factory where the most delicious chocolate is made.

Once you arrive to San Francisco de Macorís, you'll be taken to a cacao plantation where the best cacao is made. You'll start your tour with a guide in the plantation where you will learn first hand the plantation and collection process, the post-harvest stages (fermentation and drying), and you'll get to visit La Esmeralda chocolate factory, where you'll be part of the chocolate making process. At the end of the tour, you and your party will be driven back to your hotel in Punta Cana.
