Saona Island Eco Tour - Full Day

Saona Island is located off the Southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, in the province of La Romana. One of the largest of the Dominican islands, Saona is part of the National Park of the East. A trip to Saona is like traveling back in time to visit pristine, virgin beaches with fine white sand and lush coconut trees. You will marvel at the varied fauna and flora of the island. Visitors also sometimes spot hawksbill turtles, manatees, green parrots, hawks, dolphin and more. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the Dominican Republic

After you're picked up from your hotel, climb aboard a spacious catamaran and join in the festivities as you set sail along the shoreline of National Park of the East. Arrive at the famous yacht anchoring spot on Saona Island. Known for its virgin beaches and shallow, crystal-clear waters, this the perfect place to relax over a barbecue lunch with fresh fruit, salads, and Palmilla-style rice.

From there, hop back in the catamaran or board a speedboat to cruise toward a natural swimming pool and go for a dip, watching for colorful corals and starfish as you enjoy this wave-free, sandy-bottomed patch of sea. A cool cocktail with your toes in the sand is the perfect treat before you head to the palm-fringed shores of Saona Beach. Enjoy some time to swim, lounge, and explore before the cruise back to Bayahibe and the return ride to your hotel.
