Itinerary

Day 1: Rainbow Valley

Stop At: Valle Arcoiris, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
We start at 08:00 to 08.30 hours, We will travel west of San Pedro de Atacama to know the Domeyko Mountain Range, a spectacular formation that coexists in parallel to the Andes. First we will visit the Yerbas Buenas sector, of great historical relevance for its rock art, since it has one of the most important petroglyph groups in the region. The tour will transport us to the time of the indigenous caravans, adding historical and cultural value to the experience.
Then, and when crossing Matancilla, a sector rich in flora and fauna, we will find the Rainbow Valley, named for the variety of shades that can be seen in the surrounding hills: earth, reddish, brown, green, white and yellow colors . , which combined with white salts and blue sky, make up a unique place. We leave 15:30 hours from the meeting point on Calle Caracoles 259. On our tour to the Moon Valley, enjoy a sunset from another planet, visiting the Tres Marías, the Canyon, the Amphitheater and the Coyote Stone. the tour leaving from the center of San Pedro de Atacama towards the Cordillera de la Sal in the Atacama Desert, the driest place on earth, in the direction of one of its most picturesque points: the Moon Valley. Day 2: Tours Altiplanic Lagoons and Salar de Atacama, Socaire Village and Toconao

Stop At: Lagunas Altiplanicas, Current posted hours are 10am - 6pm in Summer and Winter, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
We will leave from the Hotel at 06.00 to 06.30 hours, San Pedro de Atacama towards the south, crossing the Salar de Atacama basin. First we will visit the town of Toconao, its Church of San Lucas and its old fruit orchards. Then we will go to the Salar de Atacama, the largest salt flat in Chile and the third largest salt flat in the world.

Already in the salt flat, we will walk along the paths of the Chaxa lagoon, which is part of the Los Flamencos national reserve. This lagoon is a nesting place and habitat for the three species of flamingos that inhabit Chile: Andean flamenco, Chilean flamenco and James flamenco.

Later, we will visit the Altiplanic lagoons, starting with the Miscanti lagoon. It is a nesting site for the tagua cornuda, bird of the Altiplano, and is located at the foot of the Miscanti hill, in the Andes mountains next to its sister, the Miñiques lagoon. This lagoon is at the foot of the Miñiques volcano, whose eruption involves the formation of the two lagoons millions of years ago.

On the way back, we will pass through the town of Socaire, a place that is characterized by the maintenance of cultivated terraces since pre-Hispanic times. In the end, we will arrive at San Pedro de Atacama, where our tour ends.

Day 3: Geyser del Tatio Tours

Stop At: Geyser del Tatio, 174a Caracoles, San Pedro de Atacama 1410000 Chile
We leave your hotel from 05:00 to 05:30 am.
On the tour to the Tatio Geysers we will leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains. After 1 hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the Geysers, a unique natural spectacle in the world, with 80 smoking geysers at 4200 m altitude. Next to this natural setting, we will enjoy a breakfast replenishment, and then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous steam columns. Also, it is possible to visit the rustic well that is within the same field.

On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama, we will make a stop at the Putana River, where we will observe the native flora and fauna of the place, and then make another stop in the town of Machuca, where it is possible to buy flame anticuchos, empanadas and other typical foods from the area Also if you wish you can take a bath in the 38 degree THERMAL Pool.
