Itinerary
Day 1: Calama Airport - San Pedro de Atacama - Moon Valley
Stop At: Valle De La Luna, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
Reception at Calama Airport and transfer to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.
In the afternoon, departure from the hotel to the Moon Valley (04:00pm Subject to confirmation). 19 km from San Pedro, in the Salt Mountain Range, is the Moon Valley located, declared a Nature Sanctuary and Monument and protected by the uniqueness of its beauty. It consists of a depression surrounded by small hills with impressively sharp peaks. The tour is an imaginary trip to landscapes that does not belong to our world, but to other planets.

Stop At: Mars Valley or Death Valley, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
We will see the Dinosaur Valley and Death Valley, where there is a spectacular panoramic view of the area. We continue to the Moon Valley, where we will find geological formations that are the result of successive foldings of the earth's crust. In the valley is possible to appreciate the salt sculptures known as Las Tres Marias, formed by wind erosion. Continuing with the tour we will walk through the interior of the caves that remain from the old deposits, to get closer to valley where is the Big Dune. After a break, we will climb this dune, which impresses with its size and is used for extreme sports as snowboarding At sunset, a bold palette of golds and reds appear, touching the soul and sensibilities of the visitor.

Day 2: San Pedro de Atacama - Puritama Hot Spring
Stop At: Termas Banos de Puritama, Ruta B-245 km. 28, San Pedro de Atacama Chile

Departure at 04:30pm heading northeast from San Pedro de Atacama, 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) away, we will find the Puritama river. Thanks to the sectors volcanic activity, the temperature of the waters that flow from the mountain range rises, turning this place into one of the most sought out tourism sites in the sector. In addition, the place has all the necessary services for a comfortable visit and, thus, nature gives us the possibility of enjoying this landscape, with a delightful bath in its 33°C (91.4°F) waters rich in minerals that have medicinal properties. In this canyon, where the Puritama river flows, we find one of the richest places in terms of plants and wildlife of the sector that surrounds the town of San Pedro de Atacama. Pampas grasses create a border between the water and the rest of the landscape. At the salt bushes, several bird species, such as the Grey-hooded Sierra-finch, the Scale-throated Earthcreeper, and the Grassland Yellow-finch, among others, provide us with the ideal scenery to fully enjoy nature.

Day 3: San Pedro de Atacama - Altiplanic Lagoons - Atacama Salt Flat - San Pedro de Atacama
Stop At: Lagunas Miscanti y Miniques, Caracoles 174b, San Pedro de Atacama 1410000 Chile
Breakfast. Departure at 08:30am. In this excursion, we we will go through the path to the Altiplano in order to visit the Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons, located more than 4,200 meter above the sea level and surrounded by great and imposing volcanoes from the Andes Mountain Range and flora and fauna in their natural environment.

Stop At: Laguna Chaxa, Reserna Nacional los Flamencos, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
We will continue to Chaxa Lagoon, scenery and beautiful landscape, divided into several water mirrors where a great number of flamingoes and other birds such as Andean Flamingoes.

Stop At: Volcan Licancabur, San Pedro de Atacama Chile
Finally, before we return, while the landscape features marvelous views of the Licancabur and Lascar Volcanoes, we will visit Toconao with a typical colonial architecture, San Lucas Church, the first National Monument.

Day 4: San Pedro de Atacama - Tatio Geysers - San Pedro de Atacama - Calama Airport - Santiago

Departure at 5:00am from the hotel. Subject to confirmation. We leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama Hotel to go to the Tatio Geysers, a geothermal center with geysers that can only be seen very early in the morning. After seeing this spectacular sight in a magnificent natural setting, we eat breakfast. On the way back, we see the majestic Andes Mountain Range, whose peaks seem close enough to touch. We then arrive at Machuca, a small llama herder settlement. The village is filled with adobe houses with thatched roofs. Green wetlands lend a special charm. Return to the hotel.
In due time, transfer to Calama Airport to board your flight destination to Santiago.

Day 5: Santiago - Easter Island - Mataveri Airport - Arrival

Day 6: Easter Island
Stop At: Ahu Vaihu, Coastal Road, Hanga Roa, Easter Island Chile
Departing from HangaRoa's town at about 9:30 am, going to the southeastern and northeastern coast of the Island visiting the AhuVaihu temple, which is located 10 km from HangaRoa. It consists of a stone platform with 8Moai statues and 8 pukao dispersed in the proximities.

Stop At: Ahu Akahanga, Easter Island, Valparaíso, Chile
Then, we will go to AhuAkahanga, so- called the "Platform of the king". The legend tells that HotuMatua'a's tomb is near this place. There, we will find 4 platforms, 12 Moai statues, 8 Pukao and towards the interior of this Ahu; it is possible to see the best-preserved village of the island.

Later, we will go to AhuTongariki, with 15 Moai being the largest Ahu of the island.

Stop At: Ahu Te Pito Kura Easter Island, 27°05'17.8"S 109°17'58.6"W, Isla de Pascua, Valparaíso, Chile
After that, we will meet AhuTePito Kura, which possesses the highest statue of the island raised in an Ahu, the MoaiParo (10 meters of height and 85 tons with a Pukao of 11,5 tons). Near this ceremonial temple is the great spherical stone that is identified as the Center of the World (TePito o TeHenua), as the legend tells, it was brought to the island by HotuMatua'a in his craft.

Stop At: Ahu Nau Nau, Playa Anakena, Easter Island Chile
After that, we will arrive in Ahu Nau Nau, temple of a complex construction due to its different levels where we will find 5 Moai statues with Pukao. There, we will see petroglyphs in the backs of the statues.

Stop At: Rano Raraku, Easter Island, Valparaíso, Chile
We will continue our excursion to the RanoRaraku volcano and quarry, where there was carved most of the Moai of the island, using the volcanic rock of its hillsides. There are an estimated number of 400 Moai in several stages of carved.

Stop At: Anakena Beach, Easter Island Chile
Finishing our adventure, we will go to Anakena Beach. It is a beach of white sands chosen for the arrival of the ArikiHotuMatua'a and his sister Avareipua. Anakena is the name of a small cave in an adjacent gully. Return to the town of Hanga Roa.

Day 7: Easter Island
Stop At: Ana Kai Tangata, zona sur de Hanga Roa, Hanga Roa, Easter Island Chile
Today, we will visit the Ana Kai Tangata natural cave where it is possible to appreciate some rupestrian art representing birds such as the manutara, and where it is possible to watch waves breaking upon the cliff.

We will continue our tour by visiting the Rano Kau volcano where we will be able to see the largest crater on the Island and one of the largest sweet water reservation of the area.

Stop At: Orongo, Easter Island Chile
Finally, we will visit the Orongo Ceremonial Village, old and magnificent ceremonial city located in the western side of the RanoKau volcano. It features 53 elliptical houses made of sandstone and a small square window looking to the sea. In this place, the most important ceremony of the second period of Easter Island was carried out: the election of the Tangata Manu (Bird-Man), this ceremony stopped being performed 150 years ago, due to the arrival of the first Christian missioners.

Stop At: Ahu Vinapu, 27°10'35.4"S 109°24'22.7"W, Isla de Pascua, Valparaíso, Chile
A place that was used by the Islanders in the year 1.200 A.C. including 3 Ahu. The first one has 6Moai statues demolished and painted in red. The second one has a supposedly feminine Moai which had two heads. Finally, the third Moai, the oldest one, features only removed stones.

Stop At: Puna Pau, Hanga Roa, Easter Island Chile
We will continue our way to the quarry of Puna Pau, an archaeological site in the eastern side of Hanga Roa. It is a small crater of red slag, from where the Pukao or hats of the Moai statues were obtained. Along with its old exit, there are some incomplete and abandoned Moai.

Stop At: Ahu Akivi, Easter Island, Valparaíso, Chile
We will head to AhuAkivi, the first Ahu restored by the science in the island in the year 1960. The platform with 7Moai is characterized by being one of the few ones located in the center of the island, with its statues facing the rising sun. According the legend, these 7Moai would represent 7 young explorers sent before HotuMatua'a's arrival to investigate the island.

Our adventure leads us to the cavern of TePahu, a place used as housing and temporary refuge in war times. Then, we will return to Hanga Roa.
