Interpretive walk for the largest Chilean Palm forest (Jubaea chilensis) in the country. Relict species, from past geological and environmental times, characterized by being the longest in the world, easily overcoming a thousand years, it is always possible to find palms with more than 700 years. Its history dates back to the eighteenth century and the overexploitation of this species, which to date did not exceed 110,000 individuals nationwide.

On the way to the Park, you will go through Hijuelas, a pictoresque town known by its microclimate during the whole year.

Trekking through the Chilean palm tree forest, Jubaea chilensis, one of the two southernmost palms of the World. On the way you will see an enourmous variety of medical plants and native trees and if we are privileged we could see cóndors, degús and foxes. This National Park was named by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve by the biological importance of this HOTSPOT.
