Bike and surf

This beautiful village is located on the coast of the Biobio Region, in the province of Ñuble. The area of Cobquecura has 54 km of beach, which makes it one of the largest extensions of the coast of the region, which allows it to be a major focus of tourism of special interests, among which are adventure tourism, ecotourism and community tourism. Cobquecura is a land of contrast for its fields, beaches and urban areas; It is located 105 km northwest of Chillán, and among its beaches is a group of rocks of a curious shape known as 'La Lobería' which serves as a refuge for the marine fauna of the area, including the most popular sea lion. To the south of the town you can visit the beach of Rinconada, famous internationally for its waves, including in the national surf circuits. But it is also recognized for its cultural importance, its historic center was declared a National Monument in June 2005;

Itinerary

Day 1:  Day 1

Pass By: Concepcion, Concepción, Bio Bio, Chile
We meet you in the city of Concepción, passing the participants to the hotels or the airport and we head north to the Pacific Ocean coast, to the mouth of the Itata River, where we receive the safety instructions, assemble the bicycles and start the adventure. First stop at the small Caleta de Mela, to delight us with its beautiful landscapes of coastal wetlands.

After this town begins a section of greater difficulty, by the hills of Monte Zorro, where to complete each ascent we can appreciate the combined landscape between cliffs and small white sand beaches, chosen place to have lunch and rest.

We continue along the route where we will travel the last kilometers of pedaling, reaching the town of Colmuyao, which is characterized by its extensive beach. Finishing the day of pedaling exploring the cave of Santa Rita. We will go to Rinconada beach to enjoy the seafood products that are served in a typical restaurant. Rest in hotel.

Day 2: Day 2

Pass By: Cobquecura Piedra De La Loberia, Playa Cobquecura, Cobquecura Chile
After breakfast, we will move to the small stream of Rinconada, where we will have surf lessons taught by a recognized local guide, who combines their technical knowledge and the cultural history of the area, to captivate the participants. After class we will recover strength with a delicious lunch on the beach.

In the afternoon we will continue our tour of Cobquecura, living its architecture and the main attractions of this traditional town. We will also visit the nature sanctuary Loberia - Piedra Church, we will follow the route by pedaling up to Buchupureo, capital of the Ñuble waves, where our second lodging, rest and jacuzzi are located.

Day 3: Day 3.

Pass By: Arcos de Calan, Pelluhue Chile
We will continue the bicycle route to Pullay beach, with beautiful views of the ocean.

We will deviate from the route to see the rock formations and the beach of Arcos de Calán, where we will enjoy a lunch, a privileged beach for the observation of species of birds and marine species. We will continue along the route that passes through Tregualemu, a city characterized by its old houses, declared a national heritage.

We will reach the Viaduct, a high-rise bridge with a beautiful view of the ocean. With a last effort we will arrive at La Sirena beach, in Cardonal. In this place we will share with the local families a traditional dinner, with products from the countryside and the sea.

Day 4: Day 4.

Pass By: playa, Curanipe, Pelluhue, Maule, Chile
On our last day, we will enjoy the morning doing nautical activities such as SUP, Kayak or just enjoying the beautiful La Sirena beach. After a delicious lunch, in the picturesque stream of Curanipe, we will return to Concepcion.
