Fort Bulnes and Strait Park

Located just 60 kilometers from Punta Arenas, this tour takes you to the first Chilean settlement in Southern Patagonia, known as Fuerte Bulnes. The monument invites you to feel how hard was the way of life of the Chilean settlers who managed to inhabit this region. The tour includes a tour in the Park's Visitor Center, with a panoramic view of the sector, and the geographical landmark that marks the geographic center of Chile.

Itinerary

The excursion consists of a guided visit to the first historical settlement built by the first settlers and which gave way to the founding of the city of Punta Arenas, explored through historical, pictorial and structural arguments to learn how the pioneer colonizers lived.
