Pass By: Fuerte Bulnes, V-621, Punta Arenas Chile

We will pick you up at your accommodation in Punta Arenas and travel along the Strait of Magellan. On the route we will observe a great diversity of marine birds, such as gulls, caiquenes, bandurrias and cormorants.

After an hour of travel we will stop at the landmark that marks the geographical center of Chile and then continue to Fort Bulnes, located in the Strait of Magellan Park, just one kilometer from that sector. It is the first Chilean enclave in the austral zone, founded in 1843 on the rocky hill of Santa Ana. We will have time to know the reconstruction of the original fort, which preserves the spirit of the first inhabitants of the region.
