We will walk through the ancient forests of the Shangri-La valley, where you can see a great diversity of birds, including the black-headed woodpecker. It is surprising to see how the forest has changed for 400 years, especially the lava volcanic slag; whereby we reach the ruins of the old Shangri-La refuge. Here we will rest with a privileged view of more than 6 craters, including volcanoes; Chillán Nuevo, Chillán Viejo and Renegado. In this place, you will know the geological history of the place while enjoying a snack of local products and a colorful sunset that will accompany us during our return, with the possibility of observing birds and night bats.
