An interpretive hike for all ages. It takes about 4 to 5 hours, Considered the "most important dune field of the north-central coast of

Chile "is not found only in this place, because at its side is the Mantagua wetland. Exquisite habitat of more than 80 species of bird that

they travel, they nest and they live here. This tour mixes the environmental interpretation for 4 ecosystems; wetland intertidal, dunes and forest, reason that makes it so attractive for your visit. A must-see in the region that you should not miss.

Itinerary

09.00 am Picking up at Hotel.

The transport with the guide will pick up passengers at the hotel. Then they go to Punta de Piedra where the hiking begins.

10.00 am Arrive to Mantagua Wetland and Briefing.

When you arrive at Punta de Piedra, the Guide delivers the canes and binoculars, then performs the briefing where the instructions for the use and care of the equipment are presented, announces the code of good conduct and the instructions that the participants must follow, as well as the dangers and risks to identify them and prevent accidents.

10.15 am Start the Hike.

The trekking begins in Punta de Piedra towards the Wetland of Mantagua where we can observe birds. Then we continue in the direction of the pine forest that will give us enough shade to reach the dune field, which we will travel to the north to decide to rest for a moment. We will cross the dunes and arrive at the coastal edge where we will return to Punta de Piedra.

03.00 pm Return to Hotel.
