Renegade Volcano

We will begin this hike on the path "Rest of the Giants", then continue along the path to "Palo Huacho", surrounded by forests that alternate their dominance of the Deciduous Forest characteristic of these latitudes. We will continue along a ravine that borders a tongue of petrified volcanic material, caves and forests. When leaving the ravine, a high Andean stage appears where the vegetation gradually disappears giving way to the crater of the Renegade Volcano. The summit of this crater gives us an overview of the entire volcanic complex of the Nevados de Chillán and the Shangri La and Las Trancas glacial valleys. After enjoying the summit our next destination is the Garganta del Diablo canyon of lava and rock formations that leads us to a mythical mountain shelter built of volcanic stones, in this place we will recover energy before embarking on the descent.
