To live the Santiago experience you need to place yourself in the territory and understand the geography and the Mapocho river basin. As in most human settlements, populations were installed in places with the capacity to meet basic needs. These include the connection with the universe and the relationship with mystical sensibility, in addition to obtaining within the valley the necessary basic food due to the presence of sclerophyllous forests and a rich wildlife. To the north of the Mapocho in the geography the transverse valleys predominate from the Aconcagua to the north. To the south of the Mapocho there are no longer cross valleys, which culminates with an angle in the distance between the Cordilleras de los Andes and de la Costa.

On the way from the Salvador subway to the Pio Nono Bridge, we cross the river Mapocho river to appreciate the murals of the Mapocho.

From the Pio Nono Bridge, we cross the Bellavista neighborhood appreciating the urban art that brings Santiaguina night to life.

Stop At: Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts, Jose Miguel de la Barra 650, Santiago 8320000 Chile

In this stop we will see the artistic expression embodied in the Lastarria neighborhood and around the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Forest Park of Santiago.

Stop At: Plaza de Armas, Santiago 8329001 Chile

In this step we visit the Plaza de Armas de Santiago. This is an unmissable historical point. At this point you have access to public toilets (sanitary service).

Arriving at the last section of this adventure, we visit the Santa Lucia Hill. One of the icons of the metropolis of Mapocho.
