Itinerary

Discover the Yerba Loca Sanctuary - go with us together on a trek or explore this beautiful place by yourself and enjoy a great day on the fresh air!

We will start early in the morning and drive together to Yerba Loca, where we have the choice between two different tracks. Either we go up the Trek Refugio Aleman [2755m / 7.8km (difficulty: medium) -3h] or the Trek Cerro del Medio [2325m / 3.3km (Difficulty: medium) -1½ h]. Explore with us a beautiful hike with wide views over the mountain range of the Andes, take incredible pictures and enjoy a delightful breakfast on the way. If you are lucky you might spot some wild foxes, eagles or even the chilean Condor. After reaching the top of the trek we will make our way back down where will wait already a delightful chilean BBQ for us time for relaxing and rest by a beautiful surrounding. And for all those once who still got enough energy can go for a second walk on the Trek Mirador del Aguila [2050 Hm / 1.2 kilometers (Difficulty: easy) -½ h] before we drive back to Santiago...
