Trekking in El Morado Natural Monument

From Santiago we will enter the Cajon del Maipo, in the heart of the Andes Mountains. Our hike will begin in Baños Morales, a picturesque mountain village 1800 meters high to enter the El Morado Natural Monument where we will take a path that leads to Laguna Morales and San Francisco Glacier. In the middle of the route, we will pause in the waters of Panimávida, a sector where underground mineral waters sprout forming colorful pockets dyed by the action of various minerals and we will continue to Laguna Morales where we will have lunch under the San Francisco summits (4940 meters high), Morado Norte ( 4392 m), Cerro El Morado (4627 m), Cerro Unión (3658 m) and overlooking the San Francisco Glacier.

Itinerary

The tour starts early at 7.30 am with pick-up from your hotel in Santiago, airport or where we agree. From Santiago we will enter the Cajon del Maipo, in the heart of the Andes Mountains.
