Trekking to the Quartz Mine in La Campana National Park
From Santiago we will visit La Campana National Park, UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, a place that houses a great biodiversity. We will enter through the North sector of Palmas de Ocoa where we will discover the beauty of the Chilean palm forest (Jubaea chilensis) in Chile. We will begin our walk along an educational path where we will meet several native species that form the typical sclerophyllous forest of central Chile. Later we will visit the Ocoa Waterfall and enter a large Quartz Mine. On the way back we will stop in a paint bus abandoned that tells a story of the place almost forgotten. In this place we will pause for lunch and continue our return.
