Ñuble Reservation

This tour will take us into the heart of the World Biosphere Reserve: "Nevados de Chillán Laguna Laja Biological Corridor", a priority conservation site worldwide due to the great biodiversity, mainly trees and birds. It is possible to observe more than 30 species of trees and more than 60 species of birds, such as the Condor of the Andes, the blackheaded carpenter, the second largest in the world.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1

Stop At: Ñuble National Reserve, Recinto, Pinto, Bío Bío, Chile
From Chillán we moved to the Ñuble National Reserve located in the heart of the Central Andes, without first knowing the famous market of the city of Chillán. Once in the Reserve, we enjoy the landscape of the Cordillera and its attractions, such as the River Relbún with its rock canyons and beautiful natural pools.

We join our team and enter the Cordillera following the Chilean path, which crosses the Diguillín valley, surrounded by beautiful old forests, and then we arrive at the traditional summer resorts where we will spend the night, surrounded by impressive mountain ranges.

Day 2: Day 2

Stop At: Ñuble National Reserve, Recinto, Pinto, Bío Bío, Chile
We move to the thermal baths of Los Peucos, to reach this beautiful place we must cross the valley of the Cordillera de Los Barros, several estuaries and rivers. During this trip it is an excellent opportunity to observe birds due to the diversity of ecosystems, and then enjoy the thermal baths of Los Peucos.

Day 3: Day 3

Stop At: Ñuble National Reserve, Recinto, Pinto, Bío Bío, Chile
We will have a day of exploration of the sector of the peucos to travel and perform different activities and know the nearby attractions: rivers, lagoons; Forest, and hot springs.

Day 4: Day 4

Stop At: Ñuble National Reserve, Recinto, Pinto, Bío Bío, Chile
After a day of rest, we will move to the beautiful Sector del Valle, our penultimate camp, to reach this place, our route will visit several attractions such as the stone house, the Polcura River, El Salto del Blanquillo. We will continue our trekking contemplating the Los Caitanos mountain range until we reach our campsite.

Day 5: Day 5

Stop At: Ñuble National Reserve, Recinto, Pinto, Bío Bío, Chile
During our last day of walking, we will return to the sector of El Trumao, in this route we will have one of the most spectacular views of the Cordillera de los Andes, observing the volcanoes of the Nevados de Chillán complex and the Atacalco valley. Then we will descend until we reach the river Relbún again, to take a relaxing bath.
