2-Day Private Tianjin Sightseeing Tour including Huangyaguan Great Wall

Discover the highlights of Tianjin with a private guide during a 2-day sightseeing tour. See two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Eastern Qing Tombs and Huangyaguan Great Wall. You’ll also get to visit some of the Tianjin city attractions, choose 2-4 sites you want to visit, such as Ancient Cultural Street, St. Joseph Cathedral, Porcelain House, Five Great Avenues, Italian Style Street, Jingyuan, Former Residence of Puyi etc. This private tour includes two lunches, private transportation, entrance tickets, and hotel or train station pickup and drop-off, while you get to select your accommodation.

Day 1: Tianjin -Huangyaguan Great Wall - Eastern Qing Tombs (L)

Your guide will pick you up at 8:00am in your Tianjin hotel's lobby, drive by private vehicle for approximately 2.5 hours to Huangyaguan Great Wall. On the way your guide will give you a history class while driving to the Great Wall as well as the Eastern Qing Tombs, feel free to ask any questions about these two UNESCO sites!

Once arrived at Huangyaguan Great Wall, you will enjoy a less hurried and less crowded hike at the Wall. You will spend about 1.5 hours at Huangyaguan.  

Then you will heading to the Qing Tombs, on the way you will stop at a local village for a delicious Chinese lunch.

The Eastern Qing tombs are an imperial mausoleum complex of the Qing dynasty. They are the largest, most complete, and best preserved extant mausoleum complex in China. Altogether, five emperors, 15 empresses, 136 imperial concubines, three princes, and two princesses of the Qing dynasty are buried here.

Spend about 2 hours at the Eastern Qing Tombs then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Tianjin.

Day 2: Tianjin City ( L )

Your tour guide will pick you up from your Tianjin City hotel or accommodation at 9:00am. Since this day's itinerary can be adjusted flexibly according to your interests, you can freely discuss it with your tour guide after meet. 

Typically, you will first visit the Five Great Avenues. Taking a carriage (on your own expense) or walking along the streets, you can see over 2,000 beautiful examples of Italian, German, French, Spanish and British architecture with different style mixed in with old Chinese villas that showcase the modern history of China.

Then you’ll visit Jingyuan Garden, a Spanish-styled brick structure that built in 1921 with the original name of Qianyuan Manor. It is the former residence of the Last Emperor of Qing Dynasty - Puyi.

Enjoy a delicious lunch in the local restaurant. Continue to the Porcelain House. It is a private museum decorated with about 400 million pieces of ancient Chinese ceramic chips and over 13,000 ancient Chinese porcelain vases, plates and bowls. 

Then explore the Tianjin Ancient Culture Street, where you can enjoy the special architectural styles, take folk crafts, and taste the delicious local snacks.

After the tour, be transferred back to your hotel in Tianjin.
