Ciqikou was a small village nearby Jialing River, now becomes another super hot spot pretty much represents Chongqing. It basicaly like a Chinatown in China, travelers might spend hours in there for teahouses, hundreds of snacks and souvenirs.

Stop At: People's Assembly Hall, No.173 Renming Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing 400015 China

People's assembly Hall always be a landmark architeture of Chongqing, looks like but much bigger than Temple of Heaven in the Forbidden City. Travelers could also explore around an open market nearby, and join the locals try some real Chongqing food, sand-pot rice noodles might be an interesting option.

Get cross Yangtze River and have fun in Longmenhao Old street, a particularly preserved old part of this city. Not much crowded like Ciqikou but nice and peaceful, a cup of local coffee for afternoon could be a smart way to enjoy this site.

Laojundong Taoism Temple is an ancient temple located in South Mountain across Yangtze River from Chongqing, pretty old one, basicaly for Laotsu-one of the most important philosophers in China who created Yin Yang and Tai Chi. It's a site for fesh montain air+view of the city+Chinese fortune-telling cultures.

Stop At: NanPing BuXingJie, No.196 Huigong Road, Nanping Walking Street, Nan'an District, Chongqing China

Then move to the best viewing site for the whole city called Yikeshu-means "One Single Tree". It's now a big magnificent viewing tower at mid South Mountain hidden among green plantations. Enjoy the amazing view and time is what we do here.
