Day Tour to Panda Base & Enjoy Chengdu's life by Taxi

Do you want to enjoy the best cultural parts of Chengdu but you really don't want to miss out on the pandas? Then this tour is definitely made for you. The tour includes a mix of nature, animals, and local culture. You will be able to see the cute little baby pandas and the adult pandas in their natural habitat, but besides that you will also be able to pick up some of Chengdu's culture by visiting the Wenshu monastery and drinking some tea with locals.

Early in the morning our  guide will pick you up at your hotel. we will take the taxi to Chengdu Panda Base, which is the largest panda base in Chengdu, surrounded by a beautiful natural environment. You will be guided through visiting the different enclosures of Chengdu Panda Base, where you may not only see adult pandas, but also newly born baby pandas. We spend whole morning walking around this area to see different pandas playing in the enclosures or in the trees.

After our tour in the Panda Base, we will go for a walk through Wenshuyuan Monastery. Although it is a temple, people there are living a very relaxed lifestyle. The locals kill their leisure time by drinking tea, playing Mayong game and eating local snacks here. Your guide will let you try the different local snacks for lunch. After lunch, you will step into the monastery to have a look at this 1000-year old treasure, to let your mind and body calm down or for a short meditation. After a short visit of the Monastery, we will go to a local tea house to sip a cup of tea like locals, or play Mayong game with the locals. 

Finally you will go to Taiguli area, the center of Chengdu. This will be a good comparison with Wenshu Monastery, as buildings here are designed fashionable and artistic, you will pass by many deluxe stores, and your guide will take you to step into an elegant bar or a cafe to assist you to order some drink, let yourself relax completely. Later our guide will say goodbye to you, the end of trip.
