After picking up group members, we will begin this one-day Beijing historical tour with the Tiananmen Square. You will have 45 minutes to walk around one of the biggest public squares in the whole world. The area of the present square is measured at 440,000 square meters which is a well-known relaxing place for the locals to walk, unwind, and fly kites. During the holidays, Tiananmen Square is covered with fresh flowers. Tiananmen Square which literally means “Square of the Gate of Heavenly Palace” is very close to Forbidden city, so we will have a 5 minutes walk to the next destination.

Forbidden City once functioned as the imperial palace of the 24 emperors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). The palace’s shape is rectangular and covers a total of 74 hectares making it the largest palace complex in the world. Its surrounding has a 52-meter-wide moat and a 10-meter-high wall. There are 8,700 rooms inside the palace and its wall has a gate on every side. After this visit, we will have an stop in one of the most famous pearl factories in the world to know about Chinese pearl and then we head to lunch.

Temple of Heaven is where the emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) hold their Heaven Worship Ceremony. It is considered the largest and the best representative existing work of art among China’s ancient sacrificial buildings. you will have enough time to explore this great place on your own or ask your questions from experienced English speaker tour guide.
