As the longest fully-restored Great Wall section, Mutianyu Great Wall is a masterpiece of restoration with 23 original-style watchtower. On this day tour, you will follow a professional local guide to hike the famous China Great Wall at Mutianyu section. Centrally located hotel pickup, air-conditioned transportation, English-speaking guide, local lunch and entrance ticket are all inclusive.
Itinerary
Your tour guide will pick you up from the centrally located hotel lobby at around 6:30 - 8:00 am based on the hotel location, or meeting point as advised after booking, sit in an air-conditioned vehicle and head to the Mutianyu Great Wall (approx. 1.5 - 2 hours driving), get inspired with your guides narration of Chinese history and culture of the great wall on the way.
The Great Wall is the longest wall in the world and an awe-inspiring feat of ancient defensive architecture. Mutianyu is the longest fully-restored Great Wall section open to tourists. It is less crowded and has better architecture with more watchtowers. The round trip hiking is about 6 km and takes about 3 hours, hike up to the ancient great wall to view the great scenery.
Later you will have lunch at local restaurant. At the end of the tour, the guide will transfer you back to downtown and drop you off along the subway station, where you can take either subway or taxi to your final destination (at your own expense).
