Stop At: Haizhu Square, QiYiLu 1Hao, Guangzhou China

Tianzi Wharf is the oldest dock in Guangzhou. The yellow three-storey old building across the road is the old site of the Whampoa Military Academy Students' Association, where Liao Zhongkai and Chiang Kai-shek ever worked. Three minutes west is the old site of the Central Bank Building. The Central Bank of Guangzhou National Government, originally founded by Sun Yat-sen, is still solemn. Walk eastward along the middle of the Yangtze River to the turntable, cross the road through Haizhu Square to the foot of Haizhu Bridge, and you can see the Guangzhou Liberation Monument. Behind the statue is Haiyin Colourful Square, whose predecessor is the site of the old Guangzhou Fair.

To the West into the busy Yide Road, there is a wholesale market crowded with all kinds of ornaments underneath the old-fashioned arcade. Go straight to the square on the right hand side, which is the Stone Chamber Sacred Heart Cathedral(Stone chamber). Walking back from YIde Road, turning into Jinghai Road, then turning right to Changdi Road, this road with a large number of exquisite arcade buildings, is the product of Guangzhou's modern commercial prosperity. The Haizhu Grand Theater is a five-minute westward journey. This theatre is famous for its decorative style of combining Chinese and Western operas in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It used to be a gathering of famous Cantonese opera actors.

Stop At: Pearl River (Zhujiang), Guangzhou China

Entering the intersection of Yanjiangzhong Road , the triangular building on the left is Aiqun Tower. Continuing ahead is Datong Restaurant. It used to be a place where wealthy military and government merchants roamed. Nowadays, many old people like to eat here and enjoy Cantonese opera. Further on are the South Tower and Guangzhou Post Exhibition Hall. Across the Xidi Wharf,, there are many cruise ships. As we continue to move forward, the Tower Studio with the style of integration of China and the West is the residence of Chen Shaobai, the revolutionary pioneer of that year. Opposite it is the grand old site of Guangdong Customs, which has been called the "Big Bell Tower" and one of the first four customs established by the Qing government.otel in front of it was the four largest hotels in China during the Republic of China.

Stop At: BinJiang XinTianDi, Yi'an Road, Guangzhou China

You will take a water bus from Xidi Wharf to the opposite Ao Zhou Ferry Pier, and walk westward along the quiet Binjiangxi Road. You can also see the bifurcation of the Pearl River in the Zhoutouzui Park. Continuing south along Zhoutouzui Street, you can see the Bolou Building hidden in the alley, which used to be the old site of Weather Station of Guangdong Customs. The British building was built in 1908. Then walk along the road to Tongfuxi Road, enter the Qilou Street and the surrounding lanes of Nanhuaxi Road, and continue to look at old Guangzhou.
