Shawan Ancient town was founded in the Southern Song Dynasty, is a Lingnan cultural ancient town with more than 800-years of history. It is rich in historical and cultural resources as well as folk art reputation. It has been awarded the Township of Chinese folk Art, China's historical and cultural town, China's Orchid town, the national civilized town, the national health Town and other honorary titles. In June 2017, it was awarded the National AAAA level tourist attractions by the national government.Walk around in the Shawan Ancient Town and chat with the local villager to understand Cantonese culture.

Xiaozhou Village, located in Guangzhou Haizhu District, was founded in the early Ming Dynasty, is the city of Guangzhou found the most Lingnanwatery characteristics of the ancient village. It has been listed as Guangzhou one of the first 16 historical and cultural reserves, and was named Guangdong Province Ecological demonstration Village.

Stop At: Huangpu Ancient Village Museum, No.6 Bukangli, Huangpu Village, Haizhu District, Guangzhou China

Ancient Huangpu Port and Village, located near the modern-day port on the eastern end of Pazhou Island. Once is the Chinese end of the maritime Silk road, the port was also heavily involved in the opium trade. Check out the small history museum for background on this area, and visit Pak Tai Temple, if you wish. Most of your time spent here will be walking around the maze of streets and alleys that make up the village.
