The Ngong Ping Cable Car connects the city centre of Tung Chung, Lantau and Ngong Ping with a total length of 5.7 km. The Ngong Ping Cable Car is the first cable car system of its kind in Hong Kong with a safe and reliable double cable car system. The journey begins at Tung Chung Cable Car Station, crosses Tung Chung Bay, reaches the turning station on the airport island, and turns 60 degrees in the air until North Lantau.
