This 3-day private trek tour takes you to see the gorgeous lakeside wall at Huanghuacheng and beautifual sunrise at Jinshanling sections of the Great Wall. It is a exemplary section of the Great Wall and hence comes the saying that the Jinshanling section is the most essential and classic part of the Great Wall. Meals, entrance fees, 2-night accommodation at local farmer's house, private guide and transfer service are all inclusive.

Itinerary

Day 1: Beijing - Huanghuacheng Great Wall - Jinshanling (L,D)

Stop At: Great Wall at Huanghuacheng, 60 km (37 miles) N of Beijing, Beijing 102209 China
Meet up your profession trek guide in Beijing city in the morning, and head up to Huanghuacheng Great Wall in Huairou District (60 kilometers) from Beijing. It was so named for the abundant yellow flowers (in Chinese: Huang Hua) that bloom in midsummer. It is also known as the Great Wall under the Water, because three separate sections of the wall are submerged in the Xishuiyu Reservoir. It is famous for its harmonious mixture of the splendid great wall, beautiful mountains and blue water surrounding.

Upon arrival, start walking along the path in the mountain for about 15 minutes, and you will get on the Great Wall. This section of the Great Wall was renovated based on the original style, steep and hazardous.

No parapets on neither-side. Follow by the ridge to the top where you can have a bird-eye-view of the reservoir, the awarding spectacular view of the Great Wall in the mountain and lake. The total trek is around 5 to 6 hours, and lunch meal is included in this tour (lunch begins around 2:00pm, and you will be given some free snacks if you are hungry before lunch time).

Day 2: Gubeikou - Jinshanling (B, L, D)

Stop At: The Great Wall of Gubeikou, Gubeikou Town, Beijing 101508 China
Your guide will take you to Gubeikou Great wall (20 minutes driving time) after breakfast. Once upon arrival, you will walk through a small village and farmland before ascending the Gubeikou Great Wall. After 3 to 4 hours hiking, you will reach the 24-hole Guard Tower, where is the highest place of this section. In additional, you will find the vicissitude of history along the way, such as the bullet holes and damages on the Towers will take you back to the 1930s. Your tour guide will share with about some part of history prior to the second Sino-Japanese War.

You will have lunch in the local farmer's house, walk towards Zhuanduokou at Jinshanling Great wall after lunch,you will finish the tour today

Day 3: Jinshanling - Simatai West - Beijing

Stop At: Jinshanling Great Wall, Chengde Shi, Luanping County 068250 China
See the Sunrise with your package breakfast at the Jinshanling Great Wall, a complicated and well preserved fortification systems and possesses the largest number of watchtowers. These watchtowers (5-8 meters height) were made by huge bricks, and each one built in a different architectural style.

Then, you will hike towards the Simatai Great Wall direction for another 3 hours, and you will see the East 5-hole Guard Tower. If you want to hike further, you can carry on for 200 meters more and come back. Then, enjoy a nice lunch meal before you heading back to Beijing. The estimate time for arriving your Beijing hotel is between 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
