We accompany you to explore the time-honoured history and exotic cultural customs in the “Last Paradise” - Shangri-La and surroundings in Yunnan.

Itinerary

Day 1: From Lijiang to Shangri-La

Stop At: Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia), 100 km NW of Lijiang Hutiaoxia Town, Shangri-La County 674402 China
the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river. In the upper part of Tiger Leaping Gorge, you will walk about 2.6Km from the entrance to Tiger Leaping Rock. It is a nice walking along the Jinsha River and Marble trail.

Stop At: White-Water Terraces (Baishuitai), North-East of Xianggelila, Shangri-La County 674400 China
Measuring 140 meters (about 459 feet) in length and 160 meters (about 525 feet) in width, it is one of the biggest such terraces in China. The terrace is covered by a layer of white deposits of calcium carbonate crystallized in the spring water.

Day 2: Enjoy Shangri-la tour till back to Lijiang

Stop At: Songzanlin Scenic Area, Niwang Rd, Xianggelila Shi, Diqing Zangzuzizhizhou, Yunnan Sheng, China
Reputed as the “Little Potala Palace”.
Walk 143 steps to get atop of the monastery and pay clockwise visit to the three main lamasery buildings where you can not only see the Buddhism treasures, but also enjoy large number of monks of all ages going about their daily routines, praying, chanting, cooking and resting. It should a nice trip to get in-depth understanding about Tibetan Buddhism. If time permits, take some quiet time to walk around the peaceful Lamuyangcuo Lake and take photo of the breathtaking scenery of this pure land.

Stop At: Shangri-La County, Shangri-La County, Yunnan
Pay a visit to a local Tibetan family to experience the highly-praised hospitality of Tibetan people and taste some special Tibetan snacks and butter tea.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Pudacuo National Park, China, Yunnan Sheng, Diqing Zangzuzizhizhou, Xianggelila Shi, Jiantangzhen, Hongpocun, 双桥东环线
Visit the spots by clockwise and throw yourselves into the lush green forest with diverse species of flora and fauna, walk along the plank road to catch the gorgeous scenery of Shudu Lake (hike 3.3 km, about 1 hr) and Bita Lake (hike 4.2 km, about 1.5hrs), stand at the viewing spot to enjoy Militang Grassland stretching to the horizon and seek for a real paradise in this natural wonderland.
