Sightseeing through Mt.Huangshan & Hongcun

Mount Huangshan (also called the Yellow Mountain), is well-known for its dramatic peaks, sturdy pines, interesting rock formation and drifting clouds. Its spectacular view gives artists unique inspiration and travelers breathtaking beauty. The surrounding country side, with its local style ancient villages and patchwork paddy fields, is among the most beautiful in China. Hongcun village is one of the best, and be described as a village in Chinese landscape painting. Visiting Huangshan Mountain and Hongcun village in two days is a select tour, that includes two World Heritage Sites, covering both natural wonder and historic culture.

This tour only includes a private car and an English-speaking guide service.

Itinerary

Day 1: Downtown - Mount Huangshan ( Yellow Mountain)

Pass By: Mt. Huangshan, Huangshan 245000 China
Day 1 – Mount Huangshan

Meet your English-speaking guide at your hotel in downtown of Huangshan city (Tunxi) or at airport/train or bus staion, your guide and private car will transfer you to the base of Huangshan Mountain to take the local shuttle bus that will go up to Yungu cablecar station.

In cabecar then on foot, you will enjoy the fabulous secnery along the way: East Sea View, the Begin-to-Believe Peak, lady-shaped pinnacle, backpacker stone, Black Tiger Pine, Writing-Brush Peak and Lion Peak, and so on. You can have lunch before proceeding to Cloud-dispelling pavillion in Xihai Scenic Area. You can also choose stay on the mountaintop if you want to enjoy the sunset of Mt.Huangshan.

Day 2: Mount Huangsahn - Hongcun Village

Pass By: Hongcun Ancient Village, Northwest Corner, Yi County 245500 China
Day 2 – Hongcun and Tunxi Ancient Street

Get up early for the sunrise. After breakfast, you’ll walk up through Fly-over stone to the Bright summit upon where you can enjoy the Lotus Peak, Heavly Capital Peak, Giant Fish Peak in the distance. Then descend yellow mountain by the same Yungu cablecar in the morning, then through the shuttle bus to take our private car for quaint Hongcun village. Its well-preserved Hui-style houses and gracful lake view will let you know more about local culture and idyllic lifesytle. Then head for airport/train or bus station for departure. If you stay in Tunxi or time is enough, you can visit the Tunxi ancient street to explore more of Hui profound culture and its unique craftship and product, and taste famous Hui cuisine in downtown.
