Small Group Tour: Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Huaqing Hot Spring
Going with this small group tour to spend one wonderful day in east skirt of Xian. The included three spots are among the most classic attractions in Xian. It is especially recommended to tourists who have some Chinese historical knowledge in advance or the ones who are interested in Chinese architecture and history.
Between 08:00-09:00 our guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby (the guide will call your hotel room or leave you a message at hotel reception to confirm the exact pickup time).Then we will start the day with Huaqing Hot Springs, which served as a winter palace for the Emperor Xuanzong, who spent his time there with his favored concubine Yang. Afterward you will pay a visit to Terracotta Figures Factory which focuses on reproduction of Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
Then drive to visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum locating about 30 km east of the Xi'an City. The museum and the mausoleum are listed on the Worlds Cultural Legacies by the UNESCO. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses, and Pit 1 is the largest one.
The last stop will be Banpo Museum with famous Neolithic village (approx. 1 hour visiting time). This New Stone Age site dating from approximately 5,000 to 4,000 B.C. is one of the most complete examples of a Neolithic agricultural settlement in the world. After the one days tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Xi'an.
