With this fantastic 5 day Package in the Caribbean you’ll enjoy 2 days in Tayrona Park, visiting Cabo San Juan and Playa Cristal. Along with a day trip into the mountains and a tour of Minca, a coffee farm, a cocoa farm and beautiful waterfalls.

In Tayrona Park you’ll enjoy Seven Waves Beach and a boat ride to Playa Cristal, along with some wonderful beach time and time to explore the jungle. You’ll also enjoy an ecological walk for a couple of hours to Cabo San Juan, passing through tropical jungle and many simply stunning beaches along the way.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day - Santa Marta, Colombia

Stop At: Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Arrive at a time of your chosen and be collected from the airport and taken to your accommodation in Santa Marta to check-in. At which time you will have the rest of the day to explore or if you come early enough we can organize an additional tour for you.

Day 2: Tayrona Park and Cabo San Juan

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Tayrona National Park Colombia
You’ll start this day early with a 7am pickup to maximize your Tayrona National Park and beach time.

You’ll be taken to Tayrona park and enjoy a 2 hour ecological walk through the jungle and visit 4 beaches along the way including Arenillas, La Piscina, Cabo San Juan and Los Arrecifes.

You'll also enjoy some fantastic beach time (approx. 3 hours), along with time to explore the area or partake of some watersports, such as snorkeling.

After your beach-time has passed you'll enjoy a 1.3 hour walk through the jungle and your waiting transportation.

During your ecological walks, you will learn about the local environment and the local indigenous. You'll learn about what native animals can be seen and or heard. What monkey or bird is that passing you by. What type of huge crab that is and why they are so scared of people. Where Caimen are likely to be hiding if they are around and much more. Your guide will also be safeguarding your possessions while you're relaxing in the temperate waters and taking as many photos as you may need.

Day 3: Minca Tour

Stop At: MINCA TOURS, Minca, Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
You’ll be collected from your accommodation Santa Marta accommodation and taken into the magical mountains of the Sierra Nevarda and to the beautiful town of Minca. Once here you’ll be taken on a tour of this wonderful town, along with checking out a coffee farm, a cocoa farm, enjoying an ecological walk, some beautiful waterfalls, a swim if you desire and a stop for lunch in a house made of Bamboo.

Day 4: Tayrona Park and Playa Cristal

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Santa Marta 470007 Colombia
You’ll start this day early with a 7 am pickup to maximize your Tayrona National Park and beach time.

You’ll be driven taken to Tayrona park and enjoy the fantastic view of Seven Waves beach. Along with some amazing ecological walks you'll also kick-back and relax in a boat ride to Playa Cristal (approx. 4-5 hours beach time). Where you will find some amazingly clear waters that are just perfect for snorkeling and exploring. So be sure to bring an underwater camera if you can find one, as the multi-colored fish are just spectacular.

After you have had an absolutely magical time you will enjoy yet another boat ride and a wonderful ride back to your accommodation in Santa Marta

Day 5: Santa Marta - Free day

Stop At: Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Day Four is all yours and completely up to you. Your transport will be waiting to take you to the airport for the next part of your Colombian adventure, or if you have arranged for another night or more accommodation to explore more of the Sierra Nevada De Santa Marta (highly recommended and can be organised with us after booking), your transport will be waiting for another day.
