The city of Cartagena is located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, was founded in 1533 by the Spanish Pedro de Heredia. Because of its architectural heritage and geographical disposition, it is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the new world.
The neighborhoods, houses, churches and other buildings that played an important role and housed key figures for the history of Colombia also function today as residences, museums, religious places and cultural centers. Cartagena de Indias also has a very important modern part that includes state-of-the-art buildings in neighborhoods such as Castillo Grande and Matuna, among others. In addition to having a tourist and commercial port, countless hotels and places of entertainment that makes it, not only one of the most important cities in the country but also a historical heritage of humanity declared by UNESCO in 1984.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Santa Marta, Santa Marta, Santa Marta District, Magdalena Department

• We will pick up at the hotels / hostels all clients between 4:30 am and 5:00 am after which we will take the road to Cartagena.

Stop At: Puerto Colombia, Puerto Colombia, Atlantico Department

• In the middle of the road, at the height of Puerto Colombia we will pause for breakfast.


Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Centro Historico, Cartagena Colombia

• We will arrive in Cartagena de Indias around 9:00 am.
• We will start the City Tour from the Walled City, walking through the Historic Center of Cartagena for 2hrs.
• We will pass by emblematic places such as the Old Shoes Monument, San Felipe Castle, Catalina India Monument, Clock Tower, San Pedro Clavel Church, among others.


Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Bocagrande, Cartagena, Cartagena Province, Bolivar, Colombia

• At noon we will have lunch in the Boca Grande sector.
• We will end our visit at the Boca Grande Beaches where we can enjoy during 1: 30hr of the sea.
• We will start the return to Santa Marta around 3:00 pm boarding the vehicle and taking the same route.
• We will arrive in the city of Santa Marta around 08:00 pm and 08:30 pm to end the tour.
