We will be on the roof of our house located in the neighborhood Getsemani! a roof that has grass as a floor, which is perfect for dancing barefoot! in addition to this, our roof is a private place located on a third floor, from where you have a good view of the surrounding neighborhood and the fort of San Felipe.
For 3 hours we will be on our secret rooftop in the Getsemani neighborhood of Cartagena, learning the most popular Latin rhythms which will be: Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and the native dance genre of Cartagena: Champeta!
While you learn you will drink wine, the real local beer, and typical rum of our country.
You will learn the basic steps, turns and twists of each musical genre, explained step by step with patience since our intention is that you really learn. We will unite each of the steps learned to recreate a choreography for each musical genre!

Itinerary

Get ready to learn how to dance the most danced dance styles in Cartagena and taste the most typical rums and beer of our city in our private terrace located in a house with a lot of history (that you will be able to know!) of the getsemani neighborhood.

First we will welcome you with a glass of wine to get to know each other, then we can begin to practice Merengue, going step by step to then be able to dance at least 2 merengue songs both in couple and solo.

then to rest we will try some rum and return to the arena to learn salsa, slowly, step by step to put into practice what you learned dancing at least 2 songs both solo and in pairs.

After the salsa we will drink some more rum to practice the native music of cartagena: la champeta! like the other dance styles, we will do it step by step, and the purpose is to dance at least 2 songs of champeta completely alone and in couple. during this genre we will taste the real beer of the locals! while we learn some Spanish from Cartagena!

Finally we will get to work with the sensual bachata! a perfect genre for couples, to finish with a glass of wine and an excellent view on our terrace!
