We enter its semi-arid landscape to marvel at a unique journey through mirrors of water just like an oasis in the desert, then we decipher the depths of the earth to discover the mysteries that are there. Fill yourself with culture knowing an architecture unique in its style and explore its unusual surroundings.

Itinerary

Day 1: Departure

Stop At: Bogota, Bogota
5:00 a.m. We pick you up at your hotel or place of accommodation from Bogotá and depart to the state of Boyacá on a journey of approximately 4 hours with rest on the road.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Hoyo de la romera, Santa Sofía, Boyaca, Colombia
09:00 a.m. Arrival in Santa Sofia. From there we start with trekking through our beautiful landscapes of Boyacá. Get ready for the adrenaline rush while you descend in Rapel to the cave known as the ''Hole of La Romera '', once there we begin the caving activity in which we discover stalactites, stalagmites, and in very close contact with the fauna that resides there. Return to the surface using the climbing wall technique.

02:00 p.m. Lunch. We will pause to enjoy a typical dish of the region and recharge energy for the rest of the afternoon.

Stop At: Pozos Azules, Carretera Villa de Leyva, Villa de Leyva Colombia
03:00 p.m. We resume our exploration in the vicinity of Villa de Leyva, we'll get to know part of the desert area, the perfect scenario to photography and then visit the 7 spectacular glistening water mirrors of the Blue Wells.

Stop At: Pozos Azules, Carretera Villa de Leyva, Villa de Leyva Colombia
Sightsee the semi-arid area in a cool horseback riding or in a fun ATV.
You can choose to take the ride in a horseback riding or ATV, only the length of time differs:
Horseback riding: 2 hours
ATV: 1 hour

Stop At: Hospederia Santa Ana, carrera 14 # 12-75 urbanización Santa Ana, Villa de Leyva, Boyacá, Colombia
4:30 pm. Return to Villa de Leyva. Check-in at the hotel. Free time.

09:00 a.m. Check-out. We will depart from Villa de Leyva to visit the place of your choice around the area, you can choose between:

Stop At: Monasterio Del Santo Eccehomo, 8 km From Villa de Leyva, Villa de Leyva Colombia
OPTION 1: This place is a national heritage both for its architecture and for its extensive history since 1620.
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Museo El Fosil, Villa de Leyva Colombia
OPTION 2: Visit the jewel of Latin American paleontology: The Kronosaurus. It was a giant marine reptile that lived in the Lower Cretaceous seas, this specimen is one of only three around the planet.
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Casa Terracota, Villa de Leyva Colombia
OPTION 3: A house considered the largest pottery in the world. This is a construction project that, according to its creator, "turns the earth into habitable architecture."
Duration: 50 minutes
