Gabo Márquez Tour - Aracataca and Cienaga

Stories are contained among the towns of Magdalena, thousands of them silent, perhaps as the Colombian literary nobel would say: you have to "live to tell it (s)", this tour evokes the literary world of Gabriel García Márquez, making a trip through his real and imaginary history embodied in books, all through the recognition of the two cities that most influenced his writings: Aracataca and Ciénaga, the latter, The Capital of Magic Realism.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Zona Bananera, Zona Bananera, Magdalena Department

• We pick up tourists at their lodging at 08:00 am and then take the road that tells us to the municipality of Aracataca.
• We will have 1: 30hr on the road by car until we reach Aracataca and we will stop halfway to buy a snack.

Stop At: Aracataca, Aracataca, Magdalena Department

• Upon arriving in Aracataca we will start with the first part tour in the Telegraphist's House and continue through the Bolivar Square, Gabriel García Márquez House Museum, La Bella Remedies Library, Los Almendros Square, Montessori School, Masonic Lodge House to the Station of the train.
• Around noon, being at the Train Station, we will enjoy lunch.
• After lunch we will start the road to Ciénaga where we will have 1 hour rest in the car.

Stop At: Cienaga, Cienaga, Magdalena Department

• Between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm we will be arriving in the municipality of Ciénaga.
• We will begin the second part of our tour with a visit to the Public Market to learn about the sculpture of Prometheus and the place where the Banana Massacre took place.
• After that we will go to the Main Square.
• From the platform we continue the tour visiting the San Juan Bautista Church, the Templete, Álvaro Cepeda Samudio's House and the Blue Palace.
• After the tour of the Plaza, we will go to the beach to see the Cayman Monument where we will also make a stop to take pictures.

Stop At: Santa Marta, Santa Marta, Santa Marta District, Magdalena Department

• We finish our visit to Ciénaga by taking the exit road to Santa Marta and passing through the famous Casa del Diablo.
• We will start our way back to Santa Marta which we will arrive between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to end the tour.
