Páramo to discover in Santander Condor Watching-

In this tour you can observe in its native habitat one of the emblematic birds of South America, you can see in family groups, flying through the skies as the "King and messenger of the sun". Although the condor of the Andes is one of the emblematic birds of South America, more and more alarms are emitted about its conservation status, in Colombia there are currently only 200 of which 30% live in García Rovira.

Itinerary

Stop At: Páramo del Almorzadero, Cerrito, Santander, Colombia

At 07:00 am, the guides that will accompany all the activity will be presented, then we will travel by car for a time of 2 hours to the village of El Mortiño in the Almorzadero moor, then we will walk for 30 minutes until we reach the high mountain refuge El Salto at 3890 meters above sea level. Here we will rest for 1 hour to acclimatize and avoid the symptoms of altitude sickness. We will eat something hot and then take a walk to the point where we will see the great Condor of the Andes. Each participant will be given binoculars and a technical file to fill out, after the sighting we will go down for lunch and enjoy this beautiful place.
Finally, we will walk to the transport that awaits us to take us back to Malaga at 05:00 pm
