Lets go to the north 2 hours away from Medellín in the mountains to visit Guadalupe waterfalls, and the less visited Carolina Colonial style town.

This a Roadtrip to the north and off the beaten path area of Carolina town in Antioquia department. We will get there by car after a two hours trip departing from Medellín at 9AM from your hotel.  During the trip we will stop to enjoy the road and the views from the amazing mountains, the idea is to see the typical way of life of the farmers in Antioquia and its traditions. We will visit this well preserved colonial style town Carolina from the XIX century to visit  later the Guadalupe waterfalls located 15 minutes away from the town. Deep within the Antioquian mountains are tucked away the Guadalupe falls with more than 250mts (820ft) in altitude, From the top part of the mountain a cable car built in the 1950s will takes us to a place down the canyon from where we can enjoy a landscape loaded with stories and sensationns and the amazing view of this incredible waterfall which is one of the biggest in Antioquia. We will take the lunch on the road, for returning in the afternoon to the city of Medellín.
