We are the Saveva Foundation and we specialise in making Yacon Syrup and Chocolate. We grow, cultivate and produce the Yacon syrup in-house and at the start of 2020 we will start exporting our produce. The entire process is overseen by us to ensure that each and every step is carried out in a manner that will benefit the environment and the people around us here in the Mountains of Antioquia, Colombia. We believe that with the power of the Yacon Root we can change the world.

Itinerary

You'll be able to arouse your taste buds with the delicacy that is the Yacon Syrup and all the wonders that flow from it, such as delicious caramel filled Truffles.

After this you can challenge yourself and find new ways to enjoy your passion for yoga with our Rock Yoga class.

Explore the elegant waterfalls that sit in the valleys of the mountains of Antioquoa.

Become one with nature by riding horses, living on a farm in the mountains, harvesting raw yacon roots and coffee and eating organic biodiverse food.

Oh and don't forget, you will be transported in an iconic classic 1960's Volkswagen Beetle!!

You will also have the opportunity to drive along the famous Rio Cauca in Santa Fe.

We also offer the opportunity to stay at our Hostel before or after the excursion to learn more about the production process that creates the Yacon Syrup from the Yacon Root. We offer a bed in our hostel for 20000COP or a private room in our guesthouse for 50000COP per night. We highly recommend staying in our Hostel for at least one day before the trip to ensure everything runs smoothly.
