Itinerary

Day 1: Santa Marta - Finca Santa Elena

Stop At: MINCA, Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
DEPARTURE TIME 08:00 AM

Departure from Santa Marta to the town of Minca, where a stop is made at one of the oldest coffee plantations in Santa Marta, and we will do the coffee tour. After the tour is finished, we follow the route in the 4x4 truck to the La Tagua trail, place where you start a walk to Finca Santa Elena, place where you will spend the night, feeding and enjoy your surroundings.

The farm is owned by a peasant family where they will offer their hospitality, in a family atmosphere.

Day 2: Finca Santa Elena - Cima Del Cerro Kennedy

Stop At: Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Minca Colombia
Day 2

DEPARTURE TIME: 08.00 AM

They must get up very early to observe the sunrise over the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, have breakfast, to start the trek to the Summit of Cerro Kennedy, this ascent has a distance of 5 kilometers each way, climb to the top and return to the Santa Elena farm, where lunch will be taken, and in the afternoon we return to the Tagua, where we will take the transport back to the City of Santa Marta.

Duration: 12 hours

Pass By: Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Minca Colombia
3 hours hike in the mountains to reach the Summit of Cerro Kennedy and then 3 hours to return to the point where the Carro is to return to Santa Marta.
