Stop At: Guayabo National Park and Monument, Turrialba Costa Rica

Sightseeing all the nature from San Jose to Turrialba and experience different weather temperatures into the natural rainforest. In nearby Turrialba, a vibrant local farmer’s market is open every Friday and Saturday. If you are going to the Guayabo National Monument on one of those days, take advantage of the opportunity to shop with locals. This is a great chance to try local produce that you may have never tasted before as well as meet people from the area. Let’s have a great lunch at Casa Turire in Turrialba with the best views of the Turrialba Volcano which is active. If you feel like relax there’re trails you can make or horseback ride. On the way back sit and relax to see the oldest cities on Cartago and howe the farmers live down here. On the way we can stop to try food, desserts and alcoholic beverages local people make base on a fruit called pejivalle.
