The tour is ideal for people who only have half a day to make an excursion, since you can take the tour and ask to be dropped off at the international airport.

This excursion takes us to one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica, cataloged as one of the most beautiful and impressive volcanoes, just one hour from downtown San Jose.

We can walk through the main crater, and after the tour we go to the highest point of the National Park, then descend from the volcano to visit the most important church in Costa Rica, we know a little about the architecture and the different constructions that the structure has had.

Stop At: Irazu Volcano National Park, Costa Rica

We begin our tour in San José and around 06:00 in the morning, to take advantage of our day we start the direct route to the volcano, on arrival we will have a tour of the main crater of the volcano, we can see the main lagoon and the guide will explain a little about the history of this volcano.

After the walk through the main crater, we headed to the highest point of the national park (3.432 masl), the second highest point in Costa Rica.

We make a short stop at the most important basilica in Costa Rica, visit the church museum and go to the holy water fountain to learn about this beautiful tradition.
