Konavle Hiking Tour from Dubrovnik

Experience a hiking tour trough Konavle region, countryside of Dubrovnik – you will see the forgotten railway beneath mountain of Snježnica, the beautiful Konavle valley and a lovely place called Cadmos Village at the end of this hiking journey. Konavle region has diverse natural features, from the mountain of Snježnica (1234 meters above sea level) to serenity of vineyards and other farmlands, small rivers, pine trees and breathtaking Konavle rocks.

This hiking experience starts in a small village called Vojski Do located in Konavle hills which gives a beautiful view of Cavtat and Župa Dubrovačka. The hiking path than leads you along a forgotten railway located beneath mountain of Snježnica. You will also see two tunnels of the former trail station near village of Mihanići, a lovely place on the slopes of Snježnica where you will take a short break with a beautiful view over the Konavle valley. This railway was closed in 1969.

At the foot of the mountain there is a breathtaking Konavle Valley, with its vineyards, olive plants and other farmlands, a true countryside of Dubrovnik. The hiking will lead you to the Cadmos Village, a lovely and cosy place hidden in the oak woods, with an adventure park, 7 meters high tree terrace – beautiful place to relax after this hiking experience. The duration of this hiking experience is of approximately 2 hours.
