We will see and take pictures of the Renaissance Baroque castle and the rich Ferrari garden. The castle was built on the foundations of the older castle from 11th or 12th century, built in the Romanesque period, there is also a lot of Gothic style proving that the settlement existed already in the Middle Ages, as well as the Renaissance defense towers, but it's final shape was given by the Counts Cobenzli at the end of the 17th Century. The guide will tell you how the doctor from Triest Enrico Ferrari fell in love with this place and began restoring it with his friend, famous architect Max Fabiani, in the years 1924 to 1942.

After the tour, we will visit the wine cellar Vina Karst in Sežana. After 20 minutes ride, we will taste Karst wines and prosciutto. After the tasting we will head to the village of Rodik for the excellent home-made food, the Slovenian national lunch.
