Full day tour to Bohemian Switzerland

Bohemian Switzerland is one of four national parks in the Czech Republic and out of these four is probably the most protected one. After you experience its beautiful nature, you will understand why.

You will be picked up in your place of stay in Prague by our minivan. It takes app. 90 minutes to get to Hřensko, which is the western gate to the park.

We will hike 3 km from the parking place to Pravčická brána, the largest sandstone arch in Europe. We will explore this place and during the winter season we may have lunch there.

During the summer season (end of March-beginning of November) we will have adventurous ride on a boat in the Edmunds Gorge. In the winter season this ride is replaced by a hike to ruins of local castle Saunstejn and Little Pravčická brána sandstone arch.

Total distance of the hike is around 9 km and it has moderate difficulty. You may need cash (CZK, EUR) for lunch as most places do not accept cards.

After the tour we will take you back to your accomodation.

Our "base camp"

Stop At: Pravcicka brana, Hrensko 82, Hrensko 407 17 Czech Republic

Pravčická brána sandstone arch is a place that we will visit in all seasons. It takes 30 minutes to walk up and the same time to walk down from it.

Stop At: Edmundova soutEska, Hrensko 405 02 Czech Republic

During the summer season (end of March-first weekend of November) we will have funny boat trip in a beautiful Edmunds Gorge.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Saunstejn Castle, Hrensko Czech Republic

In the winter season (November-March) we will visit ruins of the old local castle Saunstejn.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Mala Pravcicka Brana, Hrensko Czech Republic

In the winter season (November - March) we will visit smaller version of Pravčice gate sandstone arch that lies not far from the Saunstejn castle.
