After approx. 2h of comfortable drive you start exploring the exteriors of majestic Hluboka castle and gardnes in the Thudor's neo-gothic style inspired in Windsor on the way to Cesky Krumlov (optional, castle interiors open April-October with exceptions).

Make a stop in visitors' centre of the original Budweiser Budvar brewery in the city Ceske Budejovice, where you can buy a Budvar glass and taste the beer (optional).

After approx. 45 min of drive from Hluboka castle (or 2,5h directly from Prague) you start exploring the castle area of Cesky Krumlov including a unique revolving outdoor theater and interiors.
